live export protest The 8 Miles of Advocacy For Animals will roll again tomorrow morning around noon beginning with the Australian Consulate on Century Park E. and Constellation Ave. in Los Angeles. It will finish with the live export protest on the Santa Monica Pier during the G’Day U.S.A event.
THE 2ND ANNUAL RUN OF THE 8 MILES OF ADVOCACY FOR ANIMALS IS TEMPORARILY DELAYED DUE TO AN ILLNESS IN THE FAMILY. IT WILL RESUME AT A DATE TBD, BUT FOR NOW FAMILY IS FIRST AND FOREMOST.
The date is actually April 20th, 2016 and the 8 mile route is extended to include a few more consulates such as New Zealand, Japan, and Denmark. This is not just about live export anymore, it is so much more than that. April 13, 2016 Wednesday 2:00 P:M Pacific time the second annual ” 8 miles of advocacy for animals” will begin. Starting with the Australian Consulate in Los Angeles in Century City, along Wilshire Blvd towards the Chinese Consulate on Shatto Pl.
Mobile banner will again ride for the walk for farm animals.
A friend and I were at the pier last week on the 6th of Aug. and hopefully we educated some folks about live export and the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement. Hopefully we have also interested them on a plant based lifestyle which would end soooo much misery and corruption. Take note that we were in front of ‘Boxed Water’ a concept I believe would help so much with the plastic pollution problem we have. So along with the TPP (trans pacific partnership) we have the PPP (plastic pollution problem) both can be solved with a little more concern for our planet and the environment.
This event will be at the Santa Monica Pier Aug. 6 time TBA. The Australian Consulate is hosting a G’DAY USA concert featuring Australian musicians and it is my hope that these musicians will support the cause and help us speak out against this vile, inhuman enterprise.
